Symptoms of illnesses are often not clear-cut and can be due to various diseases. Dizziness, for example, can indicate diseases of the inner ear, the eyes, the circulatory system or the muscular system; it can be a precursor of a stroke or also be caused by mental factors. It is good if ENT specialists, ophthalmologists, neurologists and cardiologists are on hand. Because without knowing the causes, there can be no successful therapy. Such interdisciplinary cooperation is the strength of our large hospital with almost 1,000 beds, to which many patients from children to the elderly are brought with symptoms and not always clear diagnoses.41 departments, centres and institutes work under one roof in our hospital with a supraregional care mandate. They offer an enormously wide range of medical services, for example when it comes to the heart, vessels, lungs, intestines, kidneys or joints.
