The J. Strusia Multi-Specialist City Hospital in Poznan operates in the form of an independent public health care facility within the meaning of the provisions of the Act of 15 April 2011 on medical activity, for which the forming entity is the City of Poznan. The Hospital was established through the merger of two health care facilities. On 1 January 2009, pursuant to the Resolution of the Poznań City Council No. XLI/469/V/2008 of 26 August 2008, Zakład Opieki Zdrowotnej Poznań-Stare Miasto was merged with Zakład Opieki Zdrowotnej Poznań-Nowe Miasto. The merger took place by way of the takeover of ZOZ Poznan-Nowe Miasto by ZOZ Poznan-Stare Miasto. Since 1 January 2013, the Hospital Departments have been located in one location at 3 Szwajcarska Street in Poznań. The Care and Treatment Facility was relocated to ul. Grunwaldzka 16/18.
