Deputy Ward Manager

Location: Cullompton, Devon

Salary: £40,000 - £42,000 per annum + £5,000 welcome bonus

Hours: Full Time or Part Time hours available - (options of 2, 3 or 4 shifts per week)

Shifts: Days only, Nights only or Mixed shifts available. Standard shifts are 12 hours a day.

    An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Deputy Ward Manager (RMN & RNLD) to take on a lead role. within a very positive, friendly, and supportive Rehabilitation service for Women. Supporting those with complex Emotional and Mental Health needs, who may have a secondary diagnosis of Autism/Learning Disabilities/Disordered Eating. Women also may be transiting from CHAMS to this service.
    You will be working for an established, stable and agile company with a unique approach to the delivery of care. They are one of the UK's leading providers for Mental Health care. The unit creates a pathway for patients to step down through their recovery. Supporting Women to improve their self-worth, build a better quality of life and build independence.

Job Role:

As a Deputy Ward Manager, you will design and deliver training and supervision within a clinical environment using core skills in facilitation, negotiation, conflict resolution, teaching and delegation.

You will be effectively supporting the implementation of local Clinical Governance Strategy's and serious incident reviews and implementation of recommendations.

Demonstrating clear application of continuing professional development portfolio, actively contributing to the Nursing Service Agreement, departmental Risk Matrix and action plan, monitoring their implementation.

Effective resource management and participating in and taking an active lead in organisational clinical and nursing audit programmes.

    A Registered Nurse / Senior Nurse (RMN, RNLD & RGN)? The service welcomes applications from Mental Health Nurses, Learning Disability Nurses and Adult / General Nurses.
    Registered Nurse / Senior Nurse (RMN, RNLD & RGN) with a valid NMC pin and full eligibility to live and work in the UK.
