What you bring with you
Degree in social work / social pedagogy and preferably professional experience in working with and caring for psychiatric or gerontopsychiatric patients

Your core tasks
Full inpatient assignment in general psychiatry
Social problem diagnosis and counselling in crisis situations
Support in socio-legal matters and claims
Application for/arrangement of post-inpatient services and after-care services, e.g. from counselling centres and self-help groups
Placement of patients in therapeutic and care facilities
Conducting patient consultations and advising relatives on social, financial and legal matters
Correspondence with health care institutions
Organisation and management of patient groups
Networking and maintaining contact with relevant institutions
